Women are increasingly present in the workforce. Women are also seeing a significant increase in participation in universities and colleges across America, while the participation by men is currently declining. Will these societal changes cause dramatic alteration in the governmental workforce, or because government has tended to be more diverse with regard to gender will the changes be less noticeable or impactful? Is there a compelling need for a human resource officer in a public agency to continue to seek gender diversity?
